I have a report that runs for a while and then fails with the above error. Does anyone have a clue what could be causing this? I could not find reference to this error anywhere.

Regards,
Bessebo

so far as I can see this is a "generic" error which you get for almost any problem.

the best way to fix whatever problem is causing it is to run the report in designer and make sure you go to the last page of the report in the preview.

i often get this error if I am using formulas or group totals etc which are referencing non existant fields or formula's. also divide by zero errors are a very common cause of this error message.

There are a few things that could cause this error message. The culprit--in my experience--is typically one of two things:[ol][li]Disk Space issues. Seagate will attempt to create a temporary file in the Temp directory. If there isn't enough room on the specified drive, you may get this error message.[/li][li]Report Agent issues depending on your version of Seagate Info. This is a known issue to Crystal Decisions. Please refer to Crystal Decisions Article [/li][/ol]

It was a disk space issue but on the drive that the operataing system was on, not the drive that Seagate Info was installed on. The issue is resolved.

Thanks,
Bessebo
