on the server i found a lot of .dta files which contains my requestet data. i need only to READ this data and work with it in visual basic 6. but how can i access to it?

when i open the pervasive sql control center, there isnt set a database?!?

thanks for helping

Do you have the DDF files. These are file.ddf, field.ddf and index.ddf. These files are required by ODBC and other 3-rd party software. They describe the record layout. If you do not have them you might contact the program vendor to see if they will provide. Or if you need to build them you can take a look at BtSearch32 at and it will help you analyze the structure and build the DDF files.
