Hi
With regards to the Client Install package
there is the following Folder Win32 located
\Pervasive SQL\Clients\Win\Update\system\win32\shared
Please can you advise on purpose of the following Files in this folder :
win9x
winnt
mfc42.dll
mfcoleui.dll

msvcrt20.dll
msvcrt.dll
og70as.dll

and in the winnt folder :

These are MFC runtime files and are needed by the Pervasive DLLs:

Thanks ,
The reason i ask is because, before i mentioned in a previous thread that i was encountering a difference in characters between remote PERVASIVE database engine and the end result of my extract file being a [,] instead of a [.] in the IIIIE FLOAT data type
This got me thinking that perhaps Since my windows Server SP2 operating System is 64bit and 16bit programs will not be compatible with the operating system , there could be a problem with THUNKING from the ODBC side resulting in the Incorrect Conversion of the ASCII character set ?
