Hi all
I am running Pervasive SQL 9.10.020 database on a Windows 2003 server. I have 4 clients that pull information from the database using ODBC every 5 seconds using a select query (Clients are a custom VS2005 application) the select query is a simple query just pulling out some figures. Unfortuantly something is crashing the SQL database and I cant figure out what, sometimes it crashes once everyday, sometimes it can go 3 0r 4 days without a crash and sometimes it crashes 3 times a day. I look up the event viewer on my 2003 server and I get the following error.
"Faulting application ntdbsmgr.exe, version 9.10.20.0, faulting module w3mpm100.dll, version 9.10.20.0, fault address 0x00008a47."
I have also looked up the PVSW.LOG file but the only error that is in there is Error initializing the SPX protocol, think that is because SPX is enabled in the SQL database but we dont actually use the SPX protocol.
I just cant figure this out and its starting to annoy me, any help is appreciated.
Cheers
