What protocols need to be installed on the client machine to connect ODBC to a pervasive.2000i database? I am running a NetWare 5.1 server; TCPIP.NLM, bstart, and mgrstart are loaded. bspxcom.nlm and btcpcom.nlm are also running. Is something being overlooked in the bstart.ncf and mgrstart.ncf files. On the client side a typical install of the Novell client and a typical install of Pervasive.2000i (SP3) is present on a Win98 machine.
I added the Novell TCP protocol on the client thinking this was the missing piece of the puzzle. After this the client could not find and NetWare servers. The PCC works as far as creating databases and managing named databases but and ODBC connection just will not work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
