Pervasive ODBC driver 1

Can anyone help?

I am attempting to install Pervasive ODBC drivers (version 2.01) drivers onto a Windows XP machine. They have sucessfully installed on several such machines.

I get the following message:

C:\windows\system32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose "close" to terminate..."
