Pervasive error

I keep getting this error in pervasive 2000i
ODBC Error: SQLSTATE = S1000, Native error code = 0
Unable to open table: PS_LIN_ITEM.
No such table or object.
The table is there and I accessed it yesterday. Today I cannot access it in pervasive.
Any ideas as to what this is?
 
If you're still having the problem, here's a couple of things to check/try:

- do a Select * From x$File and see what the Xf$Loc is set to for the PS_LIN_ITEM table. If it includes a path along with a file name, make sure the path is valid (i.e., check drive mappings, etc.).

- use the Maintenance Utility to open the Btrieve file (Options/Show Information Editor/Load Information). If the file can't be opened, this should give you a more specific error code to work with.

After reinstall of Pervasive, i was able to see that there was a session open by Access that had somehow not been closed even though the computer that had opened it was shut down. After closing this SQL session, it works fine.
That issue is solved, although I am curious why the Access SQL session was not previously visible.
