Hi there,

I'm new to Pervasive 9. This is a simple question really (I hope) We have a custom app and the files are stored in a directory with .dat files.

My problem is there are no DDF files. I can connect to some empty databases using Pervasive 9 Control Centre, but those aren't what I need - the data is being stored in these dat files.

What are my options? ODBC doesn't seem to be working for me, but then again, I haven't a clue what I am doing.

Thanks

Dennis

You need to know the record structure in order to access the data. The DDFs provide this. If it's a custom app, you should be able to get the record structure and create DDFs.
