I'm not sure where to ask this question so I'm trying here! I have developed a basic Access Database for our personnel dept that I am now going to migrate to SQL Server 2000 along with our other databases. I want to revamp the personnel DB a bit as I need to start recording overtime, carry over days...Can anybody point me to some sites with decent screen shots of this kind of database as I have searched the web and cannot find any decent examples.

Thanks,

Tulip

I don't know of a personnell db example, maybe
you can look at screen shots of boxed software
personnel mngt databases for ideas?

But, I do have a question:
You said you were migrating access db's to Server 2000.
Were they originally developed in Access 97.

Because a friend of mine asked me how to upsize a standalone
access 97 database to server 2000, and i suggested they
get server 7.0 if they couldn't upgrade their workstations
to access 2000. Thought maybe you could help.

No, the db's were developed in Access 2000 and I will still be using Access for the frontend. I would suggest that your friend upgrade to Access 2000 and then onto sql server 2000 if they intend still having access frontends.

Hope that helps
