I'm new to SQL and I'm trying to get the Enterprise Manager to Recognize Microsoft's Personal Webserver and In every option I get an error that reads:
ConnectionOpen(gethostbyname()())...
Im mainly a programmer so to me this looks like a glitch of somesort( the ()() is what i mead).
I'm trying to learn how to set up a database and connect webpages to it and i figured with one computer to use this would be the easiest way (Personal Web Server->SQL). Is there any suggestions, tutorials, answers, answers, sequence-of-operations any of you know of. Any help would be appreciated. PS please assume SQL, Visual Studios, AND OEM Windows95. ( i think the oem is for the computer its on ;-p ,yet am sure that doesn't matter)
