Hello, there!!

I have a OEM WinMe license.

I want to know if I can install the PWS which is shipped in the Win98 Second Edition CD ROM.

I want to serve ASP on WinME.

Is it possible?

It is not supported by MS (it may or may not work they say) but it works on my ME with no problem, even with FP 2000 Publish Web To/From localhost.

I think I got red-flagged the last time I debated this issue so I am going to try to stay relatively quiet on the subject.

ToddWW, I never red-flagged you for that debate... I can't even find the thread anymore. In that thread the person had listed a link to the NT4 option pack download of PWS, asking if it would work on Windows ME. My argument was that I installed PWS from the NT4 option pack CD onto Windows ME, so that copy of PWS will work -- which was what the person had asked. However, I wasn't aware that it wasn't actually supported by Microsoft until ToddWW mentioned it. In light of this, I no longer use PWS. So I'll give ToddWW the star he deserves.
