How do you program personal speed dial numbers on 4412D and 18 button ETR sets.

If you want them as a personal speed dial code, then follow these steps:

Lift handset or press speaker and press #00
Dial # and then 2 digit code (01-24)
Dial *21, the entry number (01-24) 9 for an outside line and then the number
Hang up when done.

To dial the speed number programmed, press #and 2 digit code

check that, after dialing *21 just 9 and then the telephone number. Don't dial the entry number again. Line 3 above should look like this:

Dial *21, 9 for an outside line, phone number to be dialed
