I do not have an operator that sits at extension 10 (my primary operator). In fact, the person that installed this system, setup extention 10 in my telco closet for programming purposes only. Basically, if an outside caller is leaving a message for someone in the system (lets say at extension 30), a lot of times they "0" out to go to the operator. I wanted to change everyone's personal operator so they will go to my auto attendant greeting. Basically, I assigned extension 10 to auto attendant 1. This works great for me, because at my extension, I set extension 10 as my personal operator... and, since extension 10 is assigned to auto attendant 1, they here my generic auto attendant greeting. However, is there an easy way to change everyone's personal operator in the system without knowing their passwords to the VM box?

Thanks.

You should be able to specify the 'system' call answering operator extension, which is the systemwide default. On my Merlin Legend Messaging, you get there by logging into the sysadmin mailbox, 9 for administration, 1 for system parameters, 3 for CAS operator. You don't specify what voicemai you're using, so you might need to check your docs.
