Personal Folders automatically creating

I have a faculty member who has personal folders automatically being created on his machine.... These folders have no name, you cannot close them and also cannot get properties on them. Does anyone have any ideas any help is greatly appreciated.

This is usually a sign of a corrupt Outlook profile. Test by creating a new Outlook profile from Windows Control panel. This new profile can be set to use the existing .pst file.
