Running into an issue with the prsonal directory/personal fast dials. When setting up personal fast dials through a Cisco 79XX series phone I enter 9+(NPA) NXX-XXXX. This is a local call, the one "1" is not required. When I attempt to dial this number through the personal fast dial the call fails. I see that the system is adding a 9 before the number. Example, 99 (NPA) NXX-XXXX. I setup the same number but this time without a 9. The call completes but now the system is sending it as a long distance call, 9 1 (NPA) NXX-XXXX. I verified that I can call this number locally from the phone if I do not use the fast dial. I have verified my route patterns, RLs and RGs. I am having a hard time tracking down why the system adds an extra 9 when using the fast dial option but not when dialing the number.
