I have a BCM50 v3.0 in our office that I am trying to get the PCM application to work with. I have the LAN CTE licenses installed and the client installed on my PC. When I start up the PCM it asks me which TAPI line I want to use, but my line(DN) does not appear there. I checked that the LAN CTE is allowed on the BCM, but I am at a loss as to what to try next. TRying to avoid calling GNTS and getting slapped with a ridiculous charge.

Have you configured the DN to PC 'table' in the BCM yet? You'll need to specify which DN is controlled by which PC. Once that is done, and you've installed the LAN CTE client on your device, you'll need to register the TAPI service on the PC to the BCM. Go to a DOS prompt and type in tcmsetup /c nameofyourbcm. nameofyourbcm is the system name you've assigned to the device. You'll need to be able to ping the system by name from a command line. You might need to add an entry to DNS or a host file on the PC before you can do that.

After that's done, reboot, and you should be able to select the line. The BCM will tell you if the LAN CTE client is active and registered as well.
