Persistent Network Shares

I'm trying to connect my Mac to a Buffalo Terastation on the network (just appears as a windows share on the network). I'm using 10.4 Tiger. I can connect just fine using go->connect to server and can access everything just the way I'd like. The server appears on the desktop and the world is nice.

The problem is that when I turn the computer off, I lose the connection and have to reconnect the next time I start the system up. Is there a way to make the server connection persistent?
