Hi all,
I've made searches for the solution to my problem in the current threads and I didn't find it.
I'm using the module "usertrack_module" for setting persistent cookies. Nevertheless, there are too many cookies in the log.
I put the "2 years" as the argument of CookieExpires directive (three months ago). The numbers I refer to in this message are from the first 30 days using cookies.
Analyzing the number of unique visitors of the top ranked sites of the same type (here in Brazil), I guess that most of these cookies are session cookies, because they are in greater number. The weird thing is that a few of these cookies (4,2%) do appear in more than one day, and one of them is my cookie. As I turn off my computer every day, these cookies couldn't represent just very long sessions.
Could the problem be the lack of other directive, such as CookieDomain, or the browser versions?
Thanks for the attention. -----------------------------
