Persistent BG printing

I need a way to print a background as close to all the time as possible...

I'm setting up a way for users to issue checks for online accounts and thought they might like to select backgrounds for their checks but 99% of computers are set, or more likely preset not to print backgrounds since they usually are nothing more than a waste of ink in the business world..

I'm going to offer a selection to print no background of course.. but if they select one, I want it to be printed..

Is there a code? layers?

I've considered an image in one layer and text in a layer on top of it but layers are not very consistent about lining up...

i think a direct print command will work (it will also print the background). correct me if i am wrong.

Known is handfull, Unknown is worldfull
