Does anyone have any casestudy data or results that compares the differences in performance for a non-persistence queue compared to a persistence queue.
Our tests have shown approximately 10x performance degradation for persistent messages. It's all relative to your configuration. Keep in mind persistent message performance is most impacted by disk I/O time, so using a RAID5 stripe set with maximum transfer rates will boost your persistent message times.
