My problem is a user on one of our client machines is unable to run eFax software as a user in XP. I do not want to give him admin or power user rights. In order to run the software, he needs to be however.

Is there a way using Server 2003 to allow one user to run one program? Basically I want it so that every time he needs to use the program, I dont have to log on as an admin.
Thanks,
Steve

I have a similar situation here with a very antiquated piece of software which uses HKEY_CURRENT_MACHINE for all its stuff and it changes the registry with nearly every click (yucky!). I gave "Domain users" full control over the appropriate key on their machines and the software was happy.

Maybe you can try same; you need to figure out why the software does not run and then you can find a way around it.
