Hi,
I have a content database served over two websites, one for internal with
integrated auth and one for external access with basic auth over ssl (to
overcome issues associated with using basic and integrated auth on the same
site). Each site has it's own application pool (to allow the recycle bin
ISAPI to work on both) running in network service context.
I've added a global group to the reader group which works inconsistently.
When I log into either website with a user who is a member of this group,
most of the time I will be challenged for the username and password, and will
eventually get an access denied error. If I thne log in to the site as an
admin, then close the browser so that I get prompted to login again, then log
back into the site, it then allows me to login as a reader user fine. If I
try again a few hours later, I get the same problem.
Any suggestions much appreciated. cheers.
