Permissions on Public Folders

Hey..

I have created a Security group, and I am trying to gain to it as access to a public folder. however, I see only Users and Distribution groups in the choosable options!

when choosing distribution group, it says it doesnt work.

You cannot use a Security Group for this, you should be using a Dist. Group to give permissions, what happens when you add a Dist. Group exactly?

It says The modified permission could be saved.
and then in the EXCHANGE SERVER EVEND IT LOG I GET:
