Permission Problems

Ive set up my account as a second administrator on my windows 2000 server. Ive mad it a member of the administrators group etc. Yet when i log on to a workstation with this account, I dont have administrative privilages, ive checked and the local administrator group has domain administrator in it. This is happening on both 2000 pro and xp pro workstations, can anybody help as its getting quite annoying.

Just to verify: Your second admin account is a member of Domain Admins?
