Ok, I'm running XP pro and IIS 5.1 (locally).
Trying to run a very basic update query in asp.net on an Access Database (The query uses no aggregate functions).
I just get the error 'Opperation requires updatable query'.

The database resides in the root directory of the Default Website. I have enabled read write access on the root folder and database file, and allowed anonymous access. The scripts are in a subfolder of the root directory. I can read from the database using queries and I know the update query works as I have tried directly from with access.

Any ideas? This may have been answered previously but the Keyword Search facility is down at present. Thanks. Cheers,
Jamie

Doh, its ok I've sorted it - I had set permissions in IIS but hadn't set the correct permission for the relevant account on the folder.

Cheers,
Jamie
