I get permission error on dbaexch backup yet I am logged on as exchange administrator. Any clues?

When you say 'logged on' do you mean logged onto the server or is your ArcServe security set to use the Exchange Admin account for the Exchange section of your backup job? Make sure you set the security for Exchange when you submit the job and get prompted for security info. Monkeylizard

I am on as Exchange admin and also on security password for that job but it says that dbaagent does not have permissions.???

If your servers are not in one domain, then you may need to enter the userID in the form of \\domain\userID

If they are in the same domain, I don't have a clue.
Sorry. Monkeylizard
