I am using filemaker files stored on a server and accessed by 3 computers, 2 x PC & 1 x Mac. If a file is open on the Mac no other PC can open the same file (sharing is on, a dialog box appears that says "permission denied". The same applies with PC to PC, however if a PC has a file open, I can also open it on the Mac at the same time. All are using 8.5 pro. How can I have the same file open on all computers at the same time?

Are these pc's all using the same licensed copy of file maker pro if so they can't look at the same file simultaneously.
