Hello,
I am receiving an erro trying to send mail with CDONTS. The code works fine in our office but on the host we get this message. The host is not running exchange server. They simply dont beleieve that the problem is on their server. They are running NT 4.x SPx? In general, what kinds of things could cause this? I'd like to give them some idea of the direction to look.

Thanks!!

If you have the virtual directory/server running in its own memory space then the site cannot access CDONTS. This can be fixed via a METABASE hack but it opens up gaping security holes so basically it is not done. Take the virtual directory out of running in its own memory space.
