permission denied problem?

hello,
i have a problem on a client PC.
i use my vb6 program on it,when i try to save a record i get
"Runtime-Error 70 permission denied" error.
i dont know how can i solve this problem.
please help me.
 
Is the file read-only?

Could someone else have it open?
 
Save a record where? Access mdb, Oracle, etc.?
If the database is on a server, the user PC may not have sufficient rights.

database which i use sql server 2000
yes database on server.
if there are right problems how can i solve it?
please help me.
 
Whoever administers your network, or your DBA, should be able to resolve any rights issues.
