This question is geared for the more advanced excel user.

Is their any way to have the contents you place in a cell whether it being a picture, radio button or check box perminetley apart of that cell?

I am encountering problems when I attempted to cut a line which contains a button in it and paste it somewhere else.

When I paste the line the check box (button) does not come with the cut text. It just leaves the cell blank where it should leave the button. If you look at where you originally cut the line the button is still in that same position.

The contents in my spreadsheet will be cut and pasted frequently so I am looking for a way to perminelty merge my buttons to a cell. (if this is possible)

Thanks,
Adam DeMartinis

In design mode, right click the button, choose 'format control', on the third tab (properties) make sure you have one of the 'move with cells' options checked. This should be the default, so your problem sounds a bit wierd!

This works on mine - cuts and pastes OK, and moves when rows/columns are deleted. I'm using Excel 97.
