Hello

I am using Excel 2010.

With help from many Tek Tippers (like Skip) I was able to produce a workbook where data from a single worksheet(rawdata) was able to be copied to a single worksheet per line of data in rawdata.

It's working great but now the people who use it want grid lines on the single abstract worksheet. This means there must be gridlines on rawdata or it won't copy into the template with gridlines. Since rawdata is exported from Access, how can I make it so the worksheet automatically has gridlines?

Thanks!

If you want to show the gridlines, you can go to View, and in Show group you have a checkbox Gridlines. You can toggle them on and off.

Have fun.

hi,

Structured Tables!!!

Set up the display table as a Structured Table. As rows are added, the table format is inherited in those rows and formulas automatically propagate and lots of other good and useful and neat things!

Thanks Skip and Andy.

Skip, your suggestion is brilliant and once again I learned something new that is going to assist with other other applications.

It will be well worth the effort to research this feature. Lots of info in Excel HELP. I use ST a whole lot!
