I had addressed the question in another thread about removal of sharpie ink from 66 blocks and the attaching cover---I got responses of erasers, nail polish remover and acetone......all good--but I saw a substance with orange or orange peel used and the moment the liquid touched the ink--it started to disolve--with a wipe of a kleenix, there was no trace. The guy that showed that to me said he was a dealer of products besides doing telcom. I got his card email address--but I must have copied it wrong----anyway--this substance was perfectly "Green" and safe to the touch--it came in a small 4 ounce plastic squeeze bottle. Does anyone have any information about what this product might be or where I can get some--I have tried searches on orange cleaner-----but got all the name brands---this was not a name brand.

Thanks

I use Goof Off and it works very well. Small bottle, wipe on and wipe off. Erases sharpie on the jacks and blocks. Any painting outlet has it.

Thanks Tony---I will pick up a bottle--however the stuff I am talking about--as soon as it hit the ink writing from the sharpie--it started to disolve the ink without any rubbing---completely!

Hmmm--that soy solvent looks interesting--says it melts ink....anyone have any experience with it?

That Soy Stuff sounds a might too powerful...

I swear I just must have used too much of the Soy Solve, That's my excuse for being High and I'm Sticking to it....

I guess soy isnt as healthy as once thought!

That orange stuff you were speaking of, I wonder if it is D-Gel. We use that to clean up after working with gel-filled cables.

I would still rather carry a couple of magic erasers in the truck than worry about a liquid than can spill / dry up
