Question

Does anyone know a way to set an external call forward without using a feature 4 on someones phone and tying up the display (I currently use my Rads phone but can only do one DID forwarded to one number)??? I need to forward several phones during the winter months for the executives who all fly south for the winter.

Do you want to forward Internal and DID calls?

Terminals & Sets - Capabilities - Call Forward No Answer - Delay 2 Rings is one way to go.

PBH,
I was fooling around with the Cowenby's idea but useing a route to go out on. Results were inconclusive. I'll try later.

The request was to have a DID line forwarded to a long distance number (in another state) for the winter months. The request was to also rebuild the desk phone and assign a new DN, DID, and voicemail. The old DID is the one that needs to be redirected. Since it no longer is a DN or a DID pointed to a DN on the system, I had to place it on my remote tools admin phone and do a Feature(or darn world symbol)4 to redirect. This all works fine and dandy. The question that I was wondering was, Can the line be redirected in software and not just a forward function of my admin phone?
So the parameters are:
1. No physical phone on the system
2. There is a Target line receiving 4 digits
3. No need for v-mail anymore
4. Need to forward DID externally without tying up anyone physical phone.(including my remote set)
