permanent call forward

Hi There: I need to forward a phone to another, and have any voice mail also stay on the forwarded phone. Right now I have the FDN and HUNT both pointing to the forwarded phone and it works as far as calling is concerned. My problem is that the voicemail reverts back to the original phone. Can this be done? I heard that this is not how Meridian is designed to work.

I am running a Meridian 61c

voice mail is attached to the originally dialed number

Out the mailbox for the first phone and then in the mailbox of the second phone which has calls forwarded on to it put the extension number of the first phone under "Extensions DNs". This works for Meridian Mail
