Permanant control property

Hi, I have got Access 2010. I am trying to set defaults for control properties, ie font, back color etc.

I right clicked on the control in the ribbon, and put my settings in the properties window. It seemed to work until I went in to design another form in the same project and all my properties defaulted back.

Can someone tell me how I FIX what I want for a controls format properties, instead of me continually changing them.

I believe you can create a form with all the formats as you want for defaults and save it with the name "Normal".

Thanks, I will look into that idea. Hope I can fix it as it's a total waste of time changing properties each time.
