I am a novice in PERL.
How do I write a PERL program to concatenate two files.
The files are being created out of different programs.
I appreciate you time and effort in advance.

this is a COBOL forum; maybe you'd better try the PERL forum.
Look in the forum list under "Programmers"- "Languages". You'll most likely find more PERL experts there than in this forum.
