I don't know if this is an Apache problem or a Perl problem, but all of a sudden my perl scripts doesn't work. As soon as I try to execute a perl script via Apache, I get the following error:
[Tue Dec 04 19:21:32 2001] [error] [client xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] (2)No such file or directory: couldn't spawn child process: c:/websites/script.pl
What could be the problem? I have tried restarting the server, but still no luck. Any help is very appreciated, since a lot of my website is Perl. //Daniel

Hi,

I'd guess there was something wrong with your perl installation. Assuming you are not using mod_perl, perhaps the system has lost the association between a .pl file type and your (activestate ?) perl. Try to test a simple perl script outside of apache, e.g. by using 'run' command from start menu or double-clicking from explorer.

Regards

Well, after I tried all of that and perl programs worked outside of apache I just reinstalled both perl and apache, now it works just fine. //Daniel
