Hi All,
I am new to Perl & need a good manual or training guide for a complete Perl/CGI beginner on UNIX.
Can anybody please help me ??

Regards - Subharaj

Just my preferences:

1 - O'Reilly - Programming Perl
2 - O'Reilly - Perl Cookbook

As for the CGI - once you get familiar with perl, add in the "use CGI" module and refer to the user guide that comes with it.

No such thing that I am aware of. I always recommmend to get a copy of the newest version of "Perl Bookshelf Reference" on CD. Comes with 5 or 6 books (depends on the version). Should inlcude "Learning Perl" and "The Perl Cookbook" and "Programming Perl" and a few other titles. You can find it on Amazon.com and other online resources, used copies are very inexpensive.

No such thing" was a reference to the OPs request: "a complete Perl/CGI beginner on UNIX".
