hello guys i would appreciate some help i am ripping my hair out! I have always programmed for ten years very sloppily and ineficiantly storing all databases in text files. i have been reluctant to teach myself mysql but it is time. i have xxamp installed and i have downloaded the sql workbench. can someone please please please help me make a database to simply store user information when they register. I kind of need an example how to connect to the database using perl and write username password, phone number and email to a sql database. can this even be done with perl? or does it have to be php? thanks in advance guys im getting desperate lol im about to give up and just go back to text files lol thank you.
