Period & Date

Can someone suggest some advice for this problem :

We have a Time dimension [Time], and a measure [CA]
The company fiscal period is from April to March.

When we selected a current month, we need to show the total [CA] from March to the current selected month
And the total [CA] from March [Year -1] to [Current Selected Month - Year]

From a Decision Support/Data Warehouse point of view, I always like to have my own date/time dimension, so I can easily control things like this. I don't remember enough about the creation of time dimensions to determine if you can have more than one, one fiscal and one calendar. If you wait awhile, MDX'er will be along to throw in his advice from the MSAS point of view
