Perfrom R3 reporter issues

Hi guys,

I'm having a devil of a job to get this to work. When I run any report all i get is blanks - no data.

What's going wrong? I'm using the default system defined reports.

Are there any logs I can look at? anyone else run into this?

check data warehouse configuration, are needed domains configured properly? data population job, does it run correctly?

Along lines of dwalins comments check if data is being populated in physical dw database.

well, you need a domain for every aspect of the system you want to run reports on. so if you need to report on administrative items such as users you need administration domain. if you want to run reports on interactions (recordings) you need interaction domain, etc. in fact, a data mart domain is just a copy of the corresponding operational database, made especially for reporting purposes to avoid placing additional load on operational db. data mart can be (and in large systems should be) installed on a dedicated server with dedicated db.
afaik there is no reporter domain, because a domain is a kind of a database to be reported on. you wouldn't report on reporter so there is no reporter domain.

cheers for that. I have domains for all of what i need and the population job is running ok.

I guess i'll wait for the 3 mths it took them to sort the R2 reporter issue....

Mikey Brac,

In R3 you have to give the user or profile permissions to the Reporter Categories. Accessories\User Admin\Add Resource\Reporter Categories then pull over the ones you want.

now resolved. there was a component in the datamart that was looking at itself rather than the interaction servers for the data.
