I have a win2k master / media server. Is there a way to perform a restore of a Solaris with Oracle client from my win2k master server? The gui doesn't work on the Solaris server. I am just walking through doing a restore of some standard Solaris files and Oracle files to different locations on the Solaris client.

Performing solaris / Oracle restore from Win2k master server

The master is mearly a console which allows you to administer your enviroment. What I think you can not do is restore from platform to another. So Solaris to Solaris is fine but Solaris to W2k is not. Of course if you have backed up with Oracle agent you have to restore back to a Oracle agent.
