Performance on the network very slow with installed Open file agent

Win 2000 ger SP 2 Build 2195 // Arcserve 2000 WE Build 1086 ger // Open File Agent Build 499 //

If the Open file Agent is installed the Performance is very slow in the Network. If I want to access on another server last it 40 - 50 seconds. If I Stop the OFA - Service it is the same Problem. But if I delete the OFA then it is good.
Could you help me?
