Performance of A4W v 5.3a with SQL 2005

Hi All;

We have recently upgraded to A4W v5.3a with SQL 2005. We have new servers. The system is running fine and for report generation is faster. However, saving an order takes is much slower then our old v4.2 with Pervasive database.

Any suggestions on how to tune SQL.

There's nothing to tune, 5.3 is known to be much slower than 4.2 in OE, mostly because of optional fields. Hopefully 5.4 or higher will make it better.

Dump and load the data, or DBCC Reindex the database, this tends to speed up things a bit.
