On NT4 I used to set my log files going and when i had finished I used to create a PMC file which extracted the data I requested from my log. I used to save my PMC file and this would save me loads of time when i ran perfmon again as i would just use the same pmc file. What has taken the place of a PMC file in Windows 2000 Performance Monitoring? Also if i left my 2000 log running for 24hrs and chose my counters afterwards and saved them in the HTML format, are these figures an average of the 24 hr period.

Many thanks
