Performance Issue with Web Intelligence reports

We have a BO XI implementation of about 300 reports. All users access reports only through Web I. Oracle 10g is the database and SQL Serevr 2000 is the repository. We are having quite a few queries which are running real slow and weirdly, at times these work fine.

Could someone suggest me a few general performance heath check measure for BO XI and WebI and also some probable reason for this poor performance.

Ask your dba to check the Oracle Server, that's the first culprit.

Next would be network traffic.

The last thing I would check is the BOE, because there are so many variables we don't know about your system, hardware, network, reports, database...
