performance AIDE and Tool need some assistance to understand

hello

I am trying to understand what is performance AIDE and performance TOOL and why it is required a license ?
there are performance toolbox free part of AIX native with nmon, what would be adding performance AIDE ? and how do we see it is installed ?

they told me they bought license and asked me to check status...but I am new on the team and I dont know what to look at. I can see performance agent install but this is the standard one I think;

if some of you have some experience with those tools and how to install it and check it, will be helpful...
