Hello,
I try to set up perfmon on Windows Server 2008 to monitor CPU, memory and processes which I can use to troubleshoot the leaky apps.
I can successfully set up perfmon, but perfmon does not write the data to the log file while it runs. The setting is set to take perfmon data every 15 seconds. Perfmon only writes data to the log file when I stop perfmon.
I need this feature because when the server hangs, I have to send a command to reboot the server. Without this feature, I will loose the perfmon data any time I send the command to reboot the server.
Is there any way I can have perfmon write the data to the log life while it running?
Thanks in advance.
