Perfmon - loosing password

I'm having strange problems with permormance monitor on one of my servers. We rebuilt it from scratch, Windows 2003 SP1. When you key the counter information in, then click run as, and set the password. You click apply, nothing happens, the apply button doesn't even gray out. You click apply again, and the counter won't start saying it's an invalid login/password. The same thing happens if you just click ok (instead of apply). It works with the default user, but not with my user. I have all needed rights. Anyone having similar issues?
