So the lady at the testing center gave me a weird look when I aced the 70-272 (it's not a hard test for an IT pro)...

Anybody else ace their tests and get weird/odd reactions?

Auger282,

I think I scored 900+ on 70-293 the first (and only) time I took it, but no reaction at all.

For that matter I missed a perfect score on Security+ by 1 question. No reaction to the score there either, although the lady at the testing center was a little suprised that I was only in my seat for 12 minutes. Maybe with an extra minute, I could have gotten them all.

well before when I got a 949 on the 70-271 I didnt get any reaction.. but she really gave me a weird look for the perfect score..

I took a normal ammount of time on both though.. from 30-45 min

I managed to ace 70 270 & 290 with 950+ with no reaction, 291 gave me a run for my money though, hardest yet!
Just preparing for 293 now, if anyone has any advice it would be appreciated!

it's easy compared to 291. as long as you know CA and IPSec you'll be fine

I'll second that, although "easy" isn't the word I'd use. 70-293 is only easy when comared with something much more difficult, such as 70-291.

If I recall correctly, there were also some questions about clustering and load balancing. The bulk of the questions were about CA's and IPSec.

yeah, fair enough perhaps "easy" wasn't the most accurate of words. perhaps "easier" is.
I don't think I had any clustering questions in the real exam, plenty in the practice tests tho.
I passed 294 on Friday morning so onwards to 284 now!

paulhthomas,

I was unprepared for 70-294 when I took it and failed miserably. What did you use to prepare for it?

Hi Wishdiak,

I was quite lucky with this exam in that my employer paid for me to go on a course.
Howveer when I cam back I did watch the CBT Nuggets videos and did a bucket load of MEasure Up and Transcender tests.

Quick update on 293, managed to pass it, was pretty difficult.
Clustering and CA authority featured quite a bit, and lots of questions relating to security templates and knowing how the settings filter down through inheritance.

JonesNW,

Congratulations!

There are quite a few inheritance questions on 70-294, but they're all about GPO's.

yeah i think my first 15 or so questions were all on GPO!

Thanks for the advice on 294, will start preparing for it now Christmas and New year is out of the way!

I'd just like to say I hate people who get 100%.

)
